MARTINSVILLE -- Funeral services were held for Mrs. James Shireman, who died at the Morgan County 
hospital following an operation. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, one son and her mother, 
Mrs. Sarah Sheerer.
 
 Funeral services were held  for Mrs. W.W. Kennedy who died after a long illness. She is survived by two 
daughters.
 
John W. Jackson is dead at his home in Baker township, after an illness with diabetes. He is survived by one son 
and one daughter.
 
Mrs. Dora Elizabeth Shireman died at County Memorial Hospital. She is survived by one son and one daughter.
 
Mrs. W.P. Lankford is dead at her home in Jefferson township. She is survived by her husband, three sons, three 
sisters and four brothers.
