SGT. FREDRICK MEDARIS ARRIVES IN STATES

Last week Mr. and Mrs. Ralph W. Poulton of Spencer received a telegram
from their nephew, Sgt. Fredrick Medaris, advising them that he had landed
in the states and is now in the Naval hospital at Oakland, Calif.
Sgt. Medaris was flown from Saipan to Hawaii early in November for treatment
of malaria and has now been sent to California for further treatment.
Sgt. Medaris hopes to get to come to Spencer in the very near future.
