Trustees

The trustee was a person who was entrusted by the county with their funds to pay: road workers, school teachers, bus drivers, purchase school supplies, and to pay poor relief among other things.This duties of this occupation was performed in addition to the person's money making occupation. You will not find a man who just solely performed the duties of being a trustee, so assume that the ones listed below either held other jobs or were at least farmers.

Many of these job holders are difficult to determine as they didn't feel as if it was a job "per se" and didn't mention it to the census takers, so there were most likely many more then are listed below.
