Court of Owen county, State of Indiana, May term 1872

LAVINA JOHNS vs. Wm H. JOHNS-- DIVORCE NOTICE

Be it known that on this 4th day of March in the year 1872, the above named plaintiff by her attorneys, filed in the Clerk's office of the Common Pleas Court, her complaint against said defendent in the above entitled cause together with an affidavit of a competent person showing that said defendent, William H. John is not a resident of the state of Indiana.
Said defendent is therefore notified of the filing and pendency of said complaint against him and that unless he appears and answer or demur thereto at the calling of said cause on the second day of the next term of said Court, to be said at the Court House in the town of Spencer, on the first Monday in May 1872, said complaint and the matters and things therein contained and alleged will be heard and determined in his absence.
