"SHERIFF'S SALE". By virtue of 3 executions to me directed from the Clerk's office of the Owen circuit court, I will sell at the Court House door in the town of Spencer, on the 6th day of January, 1849, between the hours of 10 o'clock a.m. and 4 o'clock p.m. the rents and profits for seven years in and to the following real estate, to-wit: Lot number two in the ????? fractional half of the south east quarter of section fourteen, 28 acres, also fourteen acres, in the east half of the north east quarter of section twenty-two, as the property of JOHN HICKS, also, the north east quarter of the south west quarter of section twenty-six, 40 acres, and the south west quarter of the north west quarter of section fourteen, 78 acres, as the property of WILLIS WOOD; and also, the south east fraction of section thirty-one, 90 acres, and the south east quarter, of the north east quarter of section thirty, 40 acres, as the property of SAMUEL DYER all the above tracts of land lie in township nine north of range four, west. And on failure to realize the full amount demanded by said execution, together with damages and costs, I will at the same time and place expose to sale the fee-simple of said real estate; taken as the property of JOHN HICKS, WILLIS WOOD, and SAMUEL DYER, at the suits of the State of Indiana on the relation and for the use of WILLIAM H.
