Please note when submitting an obituary:
Unless you are a member of the immediate family (and can prove it), please do not submit obituaries more recent then the past 5 years. I WILL NOT publish these
out of respect for the families.
It should be noted that the obituaries on these pages are a combination of Owen, Morgan and Putnam counties and NOT separated. Just search by the surname.
Alphabetical Index Listing !!
I have decided to create an alphabetical index listing for our obituaries so that you can readily see if the ones you are searching for are listed.
These are NOT links, just a listing, you will then need to go to the appropriate letter to find your obit.
Married ladies have their maiden names in parentheses and unfortunately some ladies were just listed by their husband's names with a Mrs. in front of it.
These I have bold faced the "Mrs" so you can notice it is a female. I have also bold faced any "titles" carried by persons as listed in the obit, but not part of the name
