Plasterers

This page updated October 4, 2005

The work that plasterers performed was one of the oldest crafts. They applied plaster to interior walls and ceilings. This was done for several reasons, but the end results were a building that was somewhat fireproofed and sound proofed. These men worked similar to the men who work today with sheetrock or drywall.
