ILLINOIS "Chicago Herald" Paper June 3, 1891 Greencastle, Ind., June 2. --- Dick Adams, a notorious character was killed at Roachdale this morning by Noah Evans of Groveland. Evans left town heavily armed and finding his victum in front of a store opened fire with a revolver in each hand. He shot Adams twice through the head and once in the heart. After killing his man he made a speech to the astonished natives explaining his conduct. He then joined his wife, who was waiting for him, and escaped. A criminal assault on his wife is given as the cause of his act. Evans is still at large. Submitted by Kathy Bargerhuff
