William Wagoner Attempted Suicide William Wagoner, who was convicted of murdering his wife, attempted suicide in his cell in the Spencer jail Saturday night. He placed a pillow on the floor and lay his face down on it so as to smother himself. He then placed a handkerchief around his neck and tied it so that he was choking himself to death when found by the jailer. Submitted by Randi Richardson
